Tony Moschella and University College Advisors was instrumental in helping my son focus on the strong academic points of his high school (Floral Park Memorial), as well as leveraging his extracurricular activities in choosing a realistic list of colleges for which to apply.
Tony started the process by having my son complete the Strong Interest Inventory Profile assessment on those abilities, and then breaking down and analyzing the results with us as a family. What was really nice and effective with this analysis and Tony’s experience is that the schools to which my son (and us as parents) chose to apply, matched up well from the “Reach/Dream”, “Target” and “Safety” school standpoints we were already looking at.
While the entire college application process indeed can be an emotional roller coaster, my son was accepted to one of his Target schools, and now in the middle of his first semester Freshman year, is very happy with his decision and “fit” for him (as are we). Tony helped “hold our hands” the entire way.
